Do you want me to buy anything?
The name of the Rocks comes from the rocky coast on the west side of Sydney. Nowadays, more than 100 heritage sites and buildings are along the narrow streets including Sydney's oldest surviving house, Cadman's cottage, built in 1816.
Visitors should visit the Rocks Discovery Museum and walk around the narrow streets with their souvenir shops, restaurants, cafés, and aboriginal and contemporary art galleries. There are also guided tours, photographic excursions and nighttime ghost tours.

At the end of the session, you will have:
- read and answered some questions about the Rocks using its official website.
- learnt the use of the past simple passive in English.
- recorded the final version of your podcast with the use of the PodOmatic website.
Visit The Rocks official website and try to find the answer to these questions:
- Do the Rocks Markets open on weekdays? (To find out, visit the "The Rocks Markets" section).
- Which bus stop do you have to get off at to get to the Rocks? (To find out, visit the "Getting Here" section).
You have to answer these questions in your learning diary.
Remember that The Rocks must be a part of the route at your Google Site map.
Continue with your posts on Twitter (#taskpodcast and #EDIAsydney). Send a tweet to The Rocks Twitter telling them that you have visited the centre virtually and with the name of the shop you are most interested in. You can also tweet the answer to the previous questions adding the link of your post from your learning diary. The 'Rubric to assess a Tweet' can help you do a good job in this social network.
